I am quite interested in the converting of a cargo trailers (CT's) into a camping/toy hauler. This site is to provide a story on the conversion process.
I believe that one has to understand this concept, otherwise it may be difficult to explain,
This photo I picked up this 6' x 14' from the manufacturer in NW Pennsylvania. t
With a CT, one can do what he/she wants to the inside including color and fabrics. It will probably last longer then a TT because it should be less prone to water leaks. It can be insulated, wired and heated/cooled to one's preferences and in my case, it can be both a Toy Hauler (kayaks now and maybe, just maybe, please, a Harley later. And if made right, it can be converted back quickly to a regular cargo trailer for moving things if needed. Plus by the time one is done, the cost would be the same as a very good condition used TT. So why go used? And it can be a fun project with can also provide a nice amount of DIY satisfaction.
